Why did you choose your spec?
Because I've been a shadow priest since release and adore the spec. regardless of the pitfalls Blizzard occasionally hands us.
Do you have any other characters? (name, level spec/class, guild)
Finsternis, 64 protection warrior, guildless.
What are your current professions?
Profession 1: Engineering
Profession 2: Mining
Why did you choose these professions?
I've never been able to have fun with any professions aside from Engineering. I chose mining because it's important for engineers who don't want to spend a fortune, and also brings money in from time to time.
Do you have any rare patterns/recipes that would benefit the guild?
Not that I know of.
Have you played any MMORPGs besides WoW?
No.
How long have you been playing World of Warcraft?
Since just after release.
Do you have any goals that you have set for yourself in-game?
I'd like to get Fisnternis, my warrior, leveled, geared, and in a tanking position.

What did you contribute to your previous guild(s)?
I was the guild leader of both Unfaithfully Sinful and Virtue, and an Officer for a few months in Virtue while I was stepping down as leader to go into a WoW-vacation.
Why did you leave your previous guild(s)?
I disbanded Unfaithfully Sinful to form Virtue to establish a new and respectable name. A good time later I stepped down as leader to be an officer for a few months with intention of taking a long break from World of Warcraft, in which I transfered to Moon Guard and canceled my account. It is until just recently that I started playing again.
What are you looking for in a guild?
Raiding, friendship, and most importantly a home.
What do you expect to gain/contribute from membership in Snakes?
I expect to contribute both DPS and tanking to the guild, in addition to my professional engineering skills and friendly assistance when available. I hope to gain gear and a good group of friends that will make my time in World of Warcraft pleasant.

Have you ever led any raids? If so, tell us about the experience.
I've led numerous raids, Naxxramas especially in vanilla, BC, and WotLK in addition to Ulduar up to Thorim and delving into new content. The experience was pleasant and I often recieved positive feedback as to my leadership capabilities. I'm also a professional leader of city raids, having led raids into cities successfully (for the most part) during BC and WotLK.
You are expected to come fully prepared to each raid with the necessary pots and materials to enhance your class. This includes bandages, health/mana pots, stat food, stones/oils, Guardian and Battle elixirs as well as Flasks and the appropriate Resistance pots. Is this a problem for you?
It's not.
Are you willing to adapt your spec to fit the needs of the guild in its raiding capacity?
I am within the shadow tree, but I am not willing to become discipline or holy aside from special exceptions. (I.E. old-world content raids, world PvP)
Do you carry an off-set of gear? Which spec is it and what are your stats (i.e. healing: spellpower, mana regen; prot: def rating, avoidance; caster: spellpower; melee & ranged: Attack Power & Crit)
No, not on Leibstandart (shadow priest). But Finsternis has a DPS set.

Personality, attitude, and skill are very important, so we would like to know a little about you to see how you would fit in with the group. Don’t feel pressured to give out any personal information that might be “too personal” or you feel uncomfortable sharing. We just want to get a feel for who you are and what you do outside of the game(i.e. movies, music, food, sports, family, work, etc….).
I make a mean pasta dish. I enjoy psychology, history, theology, civil debate, politics, philosophy among other things. I don't follow professional sports, but I enjoy soccer, biking, and swimming. During the summer I occupy most of my time hiking. I enjoy foreign films from all over the world, aside from India and Avatar was the best movie ever. I read quite often, mostly historical and fantasy novels. I don't like medium spiders but small and big ones are okay. Except for camel spiders, those things are beastly.
